Dustin and Melissa didn't get the first home they wrote an offer on. And thank goodness! They wanted the beach lifestyle and a house that had an open kitchen and a nice backyard. They found that and so much more right on the border of Hermosa and Redondo Beach.

They wanted to move up to the South Bay from their condo in Long Beach. After pointing them to the Hollywood Riviera and showing them certain special spots around South Redondo Beach, they decided that this is a place they could call home. We thought we found the right house for them, but it turns out there was another one that was even better waiting just around the corner. We were able to negotiate a very favorable price for both the purchase of their South Redondo Beach home and

San Clemente Real EstateIn today's real estate marketplace things are always changing. I recently had the pleasure of attending a real estate technology conference that explained the way consumers are now searching for homes on the Internet. There is no doubt that consumers are first using the Internet when looking for homes and are wanting to work with agents that can provide them the needed information in a clean and concise format. My clients tend to have two main complaints about their experience with other Realtors. The first major complaint is that their calls weren't returned so therefore they felt ignored, not important. The second biggest complaint is that when they could get a hold of their South Bay Realtor, he or she didn't really listen to their wants and needs.

Many home sellers and buyers seem to be discouraged by poor or lack of communication and they lose faith in their Realtors and the real estate process. This is why it is essential that home buyers and sellers do their homework and find a South Bay real estate agent that is accessible and keeps communication flowing at all times.

Listing homes for sale in Redondo Beach, CA (or anywhere really!) can appear a complex process because there are many variables to consider.

COMPS (Comparables)

Most agents look at the comps (Comparable Sales) to set the price. That’s the most logical place to start as those properties were recently sold and have amenities similar to yours: (same number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square-footage and condition).

HOMES SOLD IN THE PAST 90 DAYS

To get the best indication of the appropriate price range for your property, go back three months. Depending on where your real estate in California is built, there may not be enough recent sales data to support a strong opinion. If so, then we will need to look back 120 or even 180 days.

Helping Marci buy her South Bay home had it's challenges, for sure. After discovering mold and compromised siding on the house, we were able to negotiate a $20,000 credit from the seller to remediate and replace it. We just kept plugging along and stayed on track. Here's another great video testimonial for Greg Geilman and South Bay Real Estate.
