South Bay is heating up with plenty of events happening throughout the area. If you enjoy getting out and attending events, you're in luck. Here are some of the top events coming up in the South Bay area.
Flyball Introduction Class - March 1st
Flyball is for dog owners and provides a great sport for the dogs. It will last an hour per class and will be held every Saturday at Zoom Room in Redondo Beach, starting at 1pm.
Arbor Day Celebration - March 8th
Celebrate Arbor Day by volunteering in El Segundo to care for trees. The Tree Musketeers will provide plenty of fun as you plant trees and help out the area. The event is free and donations will be accepted.
Spring Pier to Pier Run/Walk - March 8th
GI Joe Boot Camp will present the Pier to Pier Run/Walk. This event will feature a Run/Walk from Hermosa Beach Pier to Manhattan Beach Pier. It's been a very popular event in the past and the winner will receive $100 cash. It starts at 7am and will last until about 10:30am.
Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles Rock Hermosa Beach - March 8th
The Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles will be back in the area for their annual concert. This excellent program is a great way to enjoy some interesting music and fun. The show starts at 7:30pm.
Walk with Sally's 7th Annual Bowl-A-Prom - March 15th
Get out the bowling shoes and dress in your best prom tux for this even. The Walk With Sally's Bowl-A-Prom is a great way to enjoy some fun and provides funds for some of the non-profit organizations in the area, such as HeART to Home. The event will start at 12pm.
2014 Universe Multicultural Film Festival - April 4th to 6th
This fun film festival will come in April and will provide plenty of fun. Films will be shown throughout the weekend and the event will be held at three venues: RHCC Community Center, Promenade on the Peninsula, Peninsula Center Library.
