Canvas Food Truck just hit the streets at the beginning of April in Long Beach. This is a great choice for a food truck with plenty of impressive items on their menu. Even with the very little space found within most food trucks, this one has a very unique and ambitious menu. The menu features many local ingredients from local farms, such as the farmer salad, All Veg Burger and Not your average Grilled Cheese. The menu also features many burgers, sandwiches, ribs, chili and more.
Chef Joseph Gotti and Chef Arturo Herrera
These two are friendly chefs with plenty of talent. They both believe in a "farm to table" concept, which they use to create a menu with fresh and seasonal dishes. They have worked for over a decade together in top restaurants, such as Market, Bru Grille and Patina. They choose many of their ingredients from the Hollywood Farmers Market and use local farms, such as the Jimenez Family Arm and Paso Prime.
Some of the best items on the menu include the baby back ribs, which are smoked for 12 hours and served with a special BBQ sauce. These ribs are some of the best you'll find from a food truck and the truck serves them on top of coleslaw with a slice of Hawaiian sweet bread. The ribs are incredibly tender and will fall right off the bone. If you enjoy a sweet and thick BBQ sauce, this is the right choice for you.
