With the Christmas Festivities coming to a close and New Year’s Eve right around the corner, we thought we’d put together a list of South Bay New Year’s Eve parties.

Queen Mary’s New Year’s Eve Celebration – If you’re looking for a little adult and luxurious fun for the New Year, we’d recommend heading aboard the Queen Mary! There will be music, food and of course fireworks to celebrate the New Year.

They have several packages available dependent on the restaurants you’d like to dine at and whether or not you’d want to stay aboard the night of. Visit their event page for full event details about the Queen Mary New Year’s Eve Celebration.

New Years Eve Gala 2014 – Presented by Berry Bly Productions, this annual event has become a staple in the South Bay. The New Years Eve Gala will be hosted at the Portofino Hotel and Marina. There will be multiple DJs spinning when doors open at 9:00pm. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased online. They also have limited VIP Tables available for those interested.

New Years Eve at Saint Rocke – If you’re a fan of great music and a legendary local music venue, you’ll want to round up your friends and spend New Years Eve at Saint Rocke. English Beat and DJ MR 80S will be performing. Tickets are a bit on the pricey side at $150 a pop but your ticket not only gains you entrance to the venue, it also gives you access to the open bar. There will also be a dessert booth, champagne toast and passed appetizers that are all included in your ticket price. With doors opening at 8:00pm, you’ll have plenty of time to celebrate all night long.

Hermosa Beach New Year’s Celebration – The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration on Pier Plaza this year. Lou Giovannetti will be performing with his band all night. There will be a huge video screen set up to view the Time Square ball drop both at 9pm and a replay at midnight. The event is free and open to the public so be sure to arrive early and dress warm!
