Have you ever heard of a home going up for sale that comes with dogs? Well, it's happening in Manhattan Beach with the Kiffin estate hitting the market. Kiffin told TMZ reporters that he plans to let the new owner take his two dogs with the house.
This is a bit of an odd thing to do, but Kiffin was fired in September of 2013 from the USC head football coaching position, so maybe he just doesn't want any memory of the area left. Regardless, the two dogs will be going up for sale with the house, which is currently on the market.
The Manhattan Beach home is listed for $6,995,000. This mansion was built in 2002 and has been updated since. It features over 7,300 square feet and was built with a contemporary design. The home is located on a half-acre lot at the end of the cul-de-sac.
Inside the home you will find a stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. There's a three-car garage, as well.
The rest of the property features a saltwater swimming pool and spa, an outdoor kitchen, mature trees, a dog run, a kid's play structure and a fire pit.
All of the kitchen appliances are stainless steel and come from luxury brand name makers. The kitchen island features a double oven with its own ventilation system above. There’s also a wet bar found within the home.
Kiffin recently took a position with the University of Alabama as their offensive coordinator. With this news, the home is ready to be sold, so that the Kiffin family can move and settle for his next stint coaching in another state. It will certainly be one of the larger sales in the Manhattan Beach area for 2014 and is one of the most interesting homes on the market currently.
