Halloween Events Found Throughout South Bay

Halloween parties and events are no different. Here are some of the best events for the Halloween Season.

23rd Annual World Famous Pumpkin Race Festival

If you've attended this event in the past, you know how much fun it is. On October 27th from Noon until 6:30pm, you can enjoy this festival free of charge at the Pier in Manhattan Beach. Dress in your favorite consume and bring your pumpkins for the races. You can race or just watch as all the fun happens. Along with the races, you can enjoy the day long festival with plenty of events including:

  • Open Qualifying Races from 12pm to 4pm
  • Pumpkin Race Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony from 2:30pm to 2:45pm
  • Kids Costume Parade from 3pm to 4pm
  • Pumpkin Race Finals from 4pm to 6pm

26th Annual Family Halloween Carnival

On October 19th from 1pm to 4pm, this event will provide all kinds of fun at Manhattan Heights Park. The carnival will include a children's costume contest and parade, carnival booths, a push up challenge, food stands, inflatable jumpers and more. The costume contest will provide multiple categories and age groups. The event is free to attend and some activities have a small cost.

Halloween with The Spazmatics

On Thursday, October 31st, The Spazmatics will provide a show at Saint Rocke from 9pm - Close.

Teen Center Bus Trip: Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland

Teenagers can take the bus to Disneyland on October 18th for one of the best Halloween Parties in the state. This trip will meet at the Teen Center at 4pm and will arrive back around 11:45pm. Teens must be between 11 and 15 years of age to participate and the cost is $70 for residents and $80 for nonresidents.
