Children's Miracle Network LogoThere's a special relationship between the South Bay Residential Real Estate Team and the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) and it occupies a corner in each of our hearts. We are proud to highlight their efforts and contributions to children throughout the world.

RE/MAX became the Children's Miracle Network's exclusive real estate sponsor in 1992 and since then, the nation’s RE/MAX associates and broker/owners have raised more than $56 million to assist this organization in treating seriously ill children around the world.

The 170 hospitals affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network treat children afflicted with cancer, AIDS, sickle-cell anemia, traumatic injuries from accidents, asthma and more. Donations are also used to support training and research and to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment – all in their efforts to save children’s lives.

Children's Hospital Los Angeles "Best Children's Hospital"

Fifty-five of these hospitals were recently singled out for recognition by U.S. News in their “Best Children’s Hospitals” edition. The magazine’s editors reviewed 89 hospitals in all and chose 55 Children’s Miracle Network-affiliated facilities as among the best.

Then, they chose an additional 10 hospitals for their “Honor Roll.” The criteria for making it into this prestigious group were that the facility has high scores in at least three specialties. All 10 Honor Roll hospitals are affiliated with CMN and one of the hospitals is our very own Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The folks at the Children’s Miracle Network estimate that 62 children are admitted to affiliated hospitals every minute of every day. Imagine – one child per second – seeks treatment. We find it almost unthinkable, which prompts us to donate back to the organization any chance we can get.

South Bay Residential Donations

In fact, the South Bay Residential Team makes a donation from the commission we earn from every real estate transaction we close. We are proud to sponsor Children’s Miracle Network and feel privileged to be in a position to help further their work.

We also donate to several other local charities that we hold near and dear to our hearts. You can read more about each one here.
