Recently, Doma Kitchen was recognized as a Blue Zones designated restaurant. This designation is given to businesses that help to create an environment capable of providing residents with healthy opportunities. This can include schools, grocery stores, restaurants and any other workplace.
The Doman Kitchen building was decorated for the holidays as they cut the ribbon for the ceremony on December 12th. This was a big moment for owners Stan Mayzelis and Angie Lorrente. They greeted many guests that came out for the event and were able to show off their new canopy, which covers their patio. This was something the restaurant needed, since seating is only provided outside.
Many light appetizers were prepared by Chef Kristina Miksyte for the event. She also provided homemade hot chocolate, which was very rich and thick. The secret to the hot cocoa, was the use of peppermint and chocolate chips. Overall, the ceremony was wonderful and provided an award the restaurant can be very proud to display.
